When should I move my guppy fry back to the mother's tank?

I moved my fry when they were two months old. They are still small, but the guppys seem to leave them alone.

As soon as they can

1. Eat the same food as the mother
2. Are big enough and fast enough that the mother cannot swallow them.

Every guppy like every human grows at a diffrent rate. But for a set amount of time 2 months should be good though I would suggest putting lots of hiding places for your fry.

I used to move them back to the main tank when they were about 4-6 weeks old
Now I live my females in the tank, because I have lots of live plants in there so the fry has planty of hidingspots
I also see that the fry grows much faster in the main tank then in that small confined space, and are also much healthier
