hey everyone! alright my fiancee is on parole. we live in california and he got arrested on a domestic violence charge. he has been in there for a little over 2 months and at his last court date they took it all the way down to a ticket for disturbing the peace which was time served. so now he is waiting to see the parole board. do you think they will let him go?

that was for the local charge. the parole board is totally different. its like they start the case over. thats why he has to see the parole board and let them figure out what they wanna do.

If his sentence was "time served" then he has completed his time and should be free.

I'm guessing that he was sentenced to "time served" plus probation for a set period of time. If that's the case then once he is processed and in the system he will be freed. Shouldn't take long at all.

There's something you aren't telling us. If he was sentenced to time served, then he shouldn't be in jail anymore or going in front of the parole board at all.

Edit------
Uh Huh. I knew there was more you were not telling us. And there is still more you are not telling us. Why is he in front of the parole board to begin with? Is it because the domestic violence charge violated a parole he was already on? Sorry, but we really can't help you with this sketchy info.

OK, I stopped after your first sentence. You're engaged to this guy? And he's in jail? For domestic violence?

What the HELL is wrong with you!? Leave! Now!

Be thankful you're in a position to leave safely. Some women get trapped into abusive relationships because the guy threatens to hurt/kill them. But if this loser is in jail, BOLT!
