Starting with and including the re-aquisition of Bowyer last season, what have they invested in? Injury prone players, ones their club don't want (at a premium) - trouble followed by trouble, or a good strategy? Oh, and apparantly Mr. Anelka is now a target!

Signing mediocre players for stupid transfer fees and ridiculous wages. If a player was earning about £80'000 a week, it wouldn't be so bad if he was world class, but people like Dyer, Bowyer, Neill, Anelka etc aren't that reliable, or even that good (Freddie Ljungberg is an exception mind you as he achieved a lot with Arsenal). Other clubs have can see them coming and know that West Ham will pay them stupid money.
