Yes, they can go. There is quite a bit of sexual inuendo...the mom asks the boy if he has been masterbating at one point. There are several intense fight scenes...once a man gets stabbed through the chest by a huge scorpion thing. You may want to let them know that it's loud and lots of fighting. The storyline is worth it. It teaches to look beyond one's self and care for others.

They may be just a bit too young for this action adventure. It is a very good movie, but really not for youngsters.

yes we took our 9 year old and 6 year old and they loved the movie. of course now that is the only kind of toy they want ....

I ,for one, didnt see anything that I wouldnt want my 7 year old to see.... I loved it.

It all depends if you think they can watch it without getting scared, or picking up bad messages, etc.
