I have a power plant with a Briggs & Stratton motor of 16.5 HP. It is very noisy. What is the best solution.?

Install a new muffler, and enclose the generator in a cubicle with some baffling to lower the noise.

you could also build a divider to semi enclose the generator. install several vents near the bottom and leave the top open.

Mount Vibration dampers to it and install a larger muffler.
