Ever since I got married, and I have been married for almost 7 years now. I got married with Credit Debt, and we paid it all off later in the years, but then we both made our own credit debt because we moved so much and made some bad decisions, and today still married and have a 5 year old, our credit debt is all paid, but we have student loans to pay and saving up constantly to get a home, so regardless of how much money we make, we never spend money to go out and do stuff. I still feel poor even though my wife is working for the Govt. I never had spending money, never, but you know what?, I am happy with my marriage and I love my family, and that's all that matters. All that other material stuff is just "wants". Money would be no object if I had to choose between my family and having money in my wallet!

Yes, I became very illl at one time and couldn't work. I was able to keep paying my house payment but just barely. The doctor didn't take any money for treating me. This went on for a year, finally my younger brother bailed me out by paying up everything. I sold my house and paid him back and also had money from the house sale.
It is not a fun thing to go through.

for casual spending for the sake of spending? I never do that...but yes I have been broke in the past and needed more money just to gt by but I learned to make more money, manage my money better and now have all I need with a little reserve

Yup, a few times....but all those times God in the form of one friend or another took care of me. Maybe the moral is that 'Just hang in there and don't let go', ' Faith moves mountains'. And i keep wishing that this 'really broke scene' does'nt happen to anyone.

Yes and it sucks so bad to be like that..even though in my case its all my fault i tend to spend money when I don't really have it to spend like that..But I can't help it..buying something new is refreshing and lifts my spirits when im down haha.

yes. Im always broke, and i just got a new job that tripled what i was makin, but im still really broke. i think i have like....50 bucks left?

lol yeah im 18. I pay for my own gas and with the gas prices these days im lucky to have my tank at half full!!!
