If it's a re-useable filter like a K&N it can be cleaned with their cleaning soap in water, completely dried, re-oiled with their brand oil it'll last forever.
I' don't know what your filter brand is but generally speaking cold air intakes all have re-useable filters. Do the cleaning process once a year to keep it clean.

if its cold air, i believe they are able to be reused as long as they dont rip or anything. just make sure you clean it depending on the miles and where you drive, around every 20,000 to 50,000 miles.

if tis a oiled filter and you clean and re oil it it will out last the car
