He's not yet -- it depends on whether he "corrects" his testimony of the past couple of days, or lets its stand.

He has flat out lied under oath -- as numerous Congressional witnesses and publicly released federal documentation can prove.

However, common practice at Congressional hearings is that a witness can review and 'correct' (meaning 'change after the fact') testimony in writing before it becomes part of the record.

If he corrects his testimony to conform to the obvious reality of the facts, then he's just lost any respect of anyone in Congress. If he doesn't he can be removed from office and punished for violation of federal laws (18 USC 1001, 2 USC 192)

I don't know if they'll get this one to stick. But I do know he's a lying little wimp. You can just see how he squirms about during testimony. Those republicans who say this is a "non-issue" only further the level of indifference over the trampling of The Contitution that this administration has done.

Alot, he commited purgery in front of congress, thats a federal offence.

As long as the congress keeps digging they just might root out Cheny and Bushy in time.

There are holes big enough to drive a aircraft carrier through in this administrations lies, the issue holding it all back is the backlash, of payback they will get for bringing down the house of cards.

Most of the presidential candidates are about as dirty as Bushy in one way or another, but simply havent had the oppertunity to exploit us as he has.

I hope they nail his foreign *** to the wall, homo style.

Well, Clinton was disbarred for lying under oath. I don't see why Gonzalez shouldn't be disbarred for the same thing. As of yesterday, we've got paper-trail proof AND the testimony of Senators that he lied in front of Congress, under oath.

Legally, none as the democrats have nothing to go on in their latest waste of our countries time and money. Alternatively, he has to put up with the harrassment and mental anguish of being persecuted by the liberals.

They continue to create a non issue fake scandal instead of accomplishing what they were sent to do in the last election. Perhaps that is why the American public is so disgusted with Congress .
