Give it a nice treat and some petting. Oscar (his name) is, according to the article, aloof around people, but will go sit/lay beside the person that is going to die.
If he wants to sit beside me, that's great. I'd have a little bit of companionship as I died. Death? Oh, please. It will happen when it happens, so have a fun life. I try to. Nothing to be scared of.
Oh yeah, I'd probably call some people to let them know they need to try on their dress clothes to make sure they fit.

Well, I would be wondering how he got lose from the nursing home and I guess as long as he didn't snuggle with me we would be ok. I rememeber reading that when he stayed for a visit then that was when it was time to worry.
