He was a preemie born 3 months early, so in some cases he is like a 7 month old.

Many babies are not sleeping through the night at 10 months. My two children were 18 months before they did. Also, if your son is still getting a bottle at night, it's not going to happen until he isn't. Nor if he is still breast feeding. To ween him, give him sips of water instead. It also depends on what time he is going to bed. Some babies are awakened easily by noises in the house or outside. Try soft music: lullabies, chant or flute. Make sure his room isn't getting too cold or hot...some babies are fussy about that. Many babies are unable to self-soothe and thus don't go back to sleep on their own. When he awakes at night, reassure him and leave. Try to let him go back to sleep without your help. Doesn't always work, but worth the effort. He will eventually sleep through the night.

The best thing to remember is that ALL babies are different. I feel your frustration though because my son was the same way. At one year old he still wakes in the middle of the night, no longer for a feeding but just to be cuddled a few minutes in the rocking chair. I take advantage of this time because I know that the time will come all too soon where he will no longer want that. Call me crazy!

Anyways as for your son, is he still feeding at night? My son still woke up once a night until 11 1/2 month for a bottle..sometimes he was waking 2 times a month it really depended on his growth spurts and such. Please don't do what most people will tell you..to not offer the bottle because I know that when my son had the whole 7 oz bottle and I could hear his little belly gurgling I knew that he needed it. Everyone is fast to just stop cold turkey with their little ones and night time feedings. I find that difficult to do. My son started off great, sleeping through the night from birth til 5 months, then the teeting kicked in and forget sleep!!

Good luck with your son and keep trying different things to figure out what will get him to sleep for you

My son, who is 3 months old, has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 months old. I would give him 2 naps during the day and then he woudl sleep all night. He feeds last at around 9 or 10 and sleeps for 8-9 hours without waking up. Give him less nap times during the day and wash him down before bedtime as well. That helps alot.

It's tricky, my daughter is breastfed; when she was about 5 1/2 months she was almost sleeping through the night - then a week or so after that she started waking up twice a night and she's still doing it. Is your son teething, or starting something new such as crawling, walking? With my daughter I know she's teething, she's in a growth spurt and she's learning to sit up, roll, and scooch so she's very excited and won't sleep anymore.

I started putting her into bed after feeding and changing her and letting her play till she falls asleep. Last night she cried off and on for about 20 minutes, I was just about to go check on her when I heard her talking and playing so I left her in there till I didn't hear her (20 minutes later) and sure enough she had fallen asleep on her own.

As far as sleeping through the night they all have different schedules as to when they will start. If he wakes up try giving him a pacifier, I did that and it worked for a couple weeks, you could let him cry a little the first time and see if he soothes himself back to sleep. As your son gets older he should start sleeping through the night but you may have to let him cry himself back to sleep a few times to encourage him. Good luck.

It's never to late to break a bad habit. If you are feeding him when he wakes up in the night, then stop doing that. He should be able to make it through the night without eating. When he does get up- don't pick him up, sooth him in his crib and let him cry a bit. It will be hard at first, but he will understand that night is sleep time and he will stop waking up.

Are you letting him nap throughout the day? If so, skip a naptime by playing with him, or taking him out for a stroll, the longer he stays awake during the day, the longer he'll sleep for you at night. Good luck.

I don't know if it's too late now to get him to sleep through the night because he might already be used to the routine you've given him. My daughter was sleeping through the night at about 2 months. I would breastfeed her before bedtime and she would sleep about 6-8 hours before waking up. I would give her a pacifier and/or occasionally feed her again and she would sleep for at least two more hours before waking up. Go to babycenter.com for more advice.

Try to give him a small snack before he goes to bed. That helped with my son. A warm bottle is just like warm milk for us. Good luck, i remember those days!
