POSSIBLE SPOILERS

I agree, it was great to see Harry get some closure with Dumbledore. It was SO sad, though, when Fred died, and Lupin of course. However, I thought the epilogue was cheesy. I would have liked something better.

******SPOILER ALERT*******
I thought she did a great job showing that each character had human emotions and it really made you feel for the characters even more. I think the bravery Hrry showed in the end which ended up helping to save his friends, just as his mother sacrifice did for him was great. I love what happened with Dumbledore. ALso the Snape thing was a great twist. I have and I am sure most readers would agree that through out all the books I have wavered back and forth between trusting an then hating the man, but it all made sense. I cannot beleive the relationship between snape and lilly, i mean friends all that time and then he loved her and protected her son all these years out of love for her! Brilliant

I loved it. Everyone has flaws and good and evil but they chose which side to listen. The love that Dobby had for harry and harry for dobby, and kreacher for regulus. Ron was a acharacter that seemd so realistic to me. He couldn't cope with it, and i don't think many people in his position could have. Neville being brave even in the circumstances he was. They stepped up to the plate even if they were the underdogs. Mrs' weasley trying to save his children and her fears.
everyone in the book are characters that have a lot of humanity and reality in them and taht si why the book is so great.

I definitely like how she added all new levels of depth for the characters in the last book, but felt that Fred's story was cut short. And Colin. I really wanted to see him end up working with Harry or him and Dennis opening up some sort of business. That would have been nice. But overall, I think JK did a great job. Depth of character and attention to detail are the mark of a great author.

Anyone can write stereotypes. It's having multiple facets to a person that make the details of their actions individually unique that sets the greatest authors apart.

Yes, it really shows that not even wizards, who are quite powerful, are not perfect. They're VERY realistic, I think we've seen that Harry has experienced nearly every emotion under the sun!!!
