Yep. There's actually a date from the beginning to the end of the dog days. Didn't know that. July 3 to Aug. 11.

Not yet, they usually occur in August when the temp breaks 100
for two to three weeks in a row. With the weather the way its been, who knows dog days may be gone, or the ante may be upped.
