Okay, I took two Early Pregnancy Tests this morning. Both had a pink line next the dark. Then I took a different (cheaper) brand test all with first morning pee at 7:30. All three had faint pink line. I went to the Dr. this morning at 9:30, he had me take a pee test. It came back negative. He did a blood test and I won't know anything until later this afternoon! My emotions have been all over the place! First I got excited and cried b/c I thought I was, then the Dr. said I wasn't and I cried again. Can anyone give me some advice?? Am I more than likely pregnant or not pregnant? The Dr. said his pee test SHOULD be more accurate..but it wasn't my first morning urine? I'm dying over here. We've been TTC#1 for a while!

It could be that your urine was too diluted for a positive to come back on the test at the doctor's office. My best advice is to go buy one of the digital test and take it after you haven't peed for a while and REALLY need to. (the digital tests are really good, b/c if it says pregnant then there is NO doubt. no, was the line really an evaporation line, or is it too faint.... etc)Also, don't drink a lot of water to try to make yourself pee, b/c that will dilute your urine making it hard for a positive to come back if you really are pregnant.

Actually false positives are not rare at all. People that say that out of ignorance because they have never had 1 I have had 2! When you conceive the egg starts to make HCG. But sometimes implantation does no go right and the pregnancy ends. It's called a chemical pregnancy or false positive. The faint line is from the HCG that was made at the time of conception it's negative today because your HCG maybe dropping when it gets to 0 your period will start. But w/ my 1st I had a ++ home test and a neg. test at the doc. and blood work came back showing I was preg. and everything was fine so it can really go either way. Just because you have HCG does not mean you are currently preg. Looks like you'll have to wait and see which way things are going they need for your HCG levels to be a 15 or higher anything lower is not preg.

The pee tests at the doctors office are usually accurate but it could be too early in your pregnancy to determine through urine. The longer you are pregnant the more hormones you have to detect. This seems like the case to me because your home tests only gave you a faint line. So I would guess you are pregnant just not very far along. The bloodwork will confirm whether you are or not. So you have to wait it out.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

With 2 positives, I'd say you're pregnant! I truly hope its right. Its rare to get a false positive. Just wait for the blood work.

Best of Luck. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Everyone is different and sometimes the pee test doesn't work. You will have to wait on your blood test.

False positives are VERY VERY VERY rare, so if you got positives on your early detection tests, I would say you are pregnant. False negatives are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more likely to occur.

i had that problem once and it turned out i wasn't pregnant i had an infection instead but you should wait on the doctor to make sure but my guess is, if you saw the lines and they were faintly visual then chances are that you may not be pregnant.
but if you are trying to get pregnant then false alarms happens because you want it too badly ....so my advise is to relax and pray about it.

good luck!
