I'm torn, I just found out that my unemployment claim was denied. There is no real reason for it. I worked at a company and witnessed unethical behavior going on, coworker not being productive, unethical (taking sales that weren't theirs) coming in late and consistent absences, this went on for months,I put my two weeks in because I had enough, an internal investigation was done on this person and it showed that they were in deed not being productive and doing the things listed, I was than offered another position and higher pay, I stayed thinking that things would change but nothing did my "new position" was still in the same area and it seemed as if I was doing the work for this unethical coworker entering orders and stuff for them,it got worse so I just up and left, this time not putting my two weeks in, i was TOLD there would be changes and this person would be gone. After a few weeks I wrote a letter to the president and this person was fired, I think that qualifies for unemp.

I am at a loss as to how you feel quiting your job was justified. You made a complaint and the company investigated and took appropriate action. You did not show the company to be unethical. You quit for what ever personal reasons you may have had. Unemployment is not for people that voluntarily left their position except in very special circumstances. Your case does not come close to meeting those circumstances.
