depends on how you become sterile...if your uterus is removed, you won't have periods but will still have ovaries which, incidentally, need to be checked even though you have no means of getting pregnant (ovarian cancer is one of the top killers of women over 55). If you have your tubes tied, yes you can still have a period because your uterus is still there and your cycle will continue...the egg just doesn't reach the uterus.

Yes. My best friend is battling with infertility and her periods are completely regular.
I just realized. What sort of sterility are you talking about? If you decide that you are going to have a permanent form of birth control implemented to become sterile, then, yes, you still have your periods as well. I had the Essure procedure done. Contrary to some beliefs, no, the periods won't necessarily become irregular. Mine are just as regular as anyone else's. However, with a hysterectomy in which the uterus is removed, one will never have periods again.

yea, but your'e periods will be irregular. sometimes you only get your period 3-4 times a year after sterilization.

yes you will still bleed since the uterus will still build up thr lining . and your ovary will still have an egg but it wont be fertilized. tubal ligations are not 100 percent
