I am 13 and I am 5'5 I am sooo tall that all of the guys in my school are to intimidated to ask me out....Im the most popular but all the guys are soo short! I just really want to be short!
Is this normal!

In a year, possibly two, most of the boys in your class will be as tall or taller than you. If you think you cannot wait that long to be asked out, you will have to be the one asking them out. You could also try being around 14 or 15 year old kids. At 13, I understand you are wanting to go out on dates or have a boyfriend, but an ounce of patience on your part will soon present you with what you desire. Also, do not get caught up in the idea of being the "most popular". Those who are the most popular are soon replaced with those who are even more popular, and after high school, the title of "most popular" will soon not mean a thing.

Ok, first of all 5'5" is not that tall! I was almost 5'8" when I was 13. The guys shouldn't be intimidated by you -- be proud of your height. Girls gain height earlier than boys do, so most of the time, the boys at your age will be shorter. Any guy should be lucky to get a tall girl. So dont ever wish you were short, because when you get older, you will appreciate your height!

It wouldn't matter how short you were, they'd still be intimidated. They're only 13!
Try to let this go for now. They will grow taller and be less intimidated. If you started puberty early, you may have stopped growing, which will make you about average height among American women. (I grew 1 inch after I was 13.) The 6' guys will tower over you and you'll miss being taller than most people.

LOL, ur not that tall and ur most likley finished growing. The guys however have just started. You'll seem to shrink as you get older when everyone gets taller. Girls are ahead of the game, but boys are slower.
I also hate it when people say "I'm the most popular" because you look slutty and shallow. Have a little dignity. It's you and the rest of the girls like you that make the woman race a discrace.

Dont worry about the boys being so short. They WILL catch up to you. I used to be embarassed about my height, but now I LOVE it. I can reach things that most other people cant, and I can always see the screen at the movies

ur a normal height,when i was 13 i was 5'5 also,well boys in my class were taller,*SOME*,and there were girls taller than 5'8.Ur a normal height,maybe the boys r too short
but i would say be confident,cuz nothings wrong w/ being tall

don't worry, when you get to high school there will be more people and there are lots of guys (including myself) who like a tall woman
just stay open-minded to everyone and don't be snotty like the "most popular" girl will be sometimes
