I have prayed for you and now I hope everything turns out well.
As far as being allergic to something in or at the pool. You sure could be. I have allergies now (I did not when I was younger), but I don't get a cold from it. Could you possibly have a sinus infection and something at the pool is irritating it? I hope the doctor checks on that for you.
Good thoughts...

Oh no! I'm sorry. Maybe you're allergic to chlorine? There are some pools that use some kind of minerals instead of chlorine to clean them. Maybe the doors to the swimming pool haven't closed on you just yet! Ask your doctor is that's the case!!!!

Chances are it's the same cold and you're simply irritating your nasal passages with the chlorine in the water. I don't like to swim with nasal or respiratory sorts of problems, you need all your sinuses and ear tubes to be clear.
Give it a rest, let the cold clear up and then get back to it.

I think it's just that you were about to have a cold when you decided to take a swim.
Don't worry, it'll go away soon and by then you can swim all you want!

Yes I will.
P.S. That has happened to me on occasion in a pool and I found out my sinuses can't handle a lot of chlorine. I got nose plugs. no more problem.
