Do you think he will "make the world a little bit safer for all kids if possible" (you'd think I was making this quote from Gerry up. Sadly Im not)

I cant wait to see when he starts lecturing to the EU on how we need to adopt the Americans model of child protection because ours is inadequate. Already he has discussed this issue with some politicians with a view to making this happen.

You can't legislate against stupidity Gerry. Hence why Madeleine is missing in the first place.

Scorpianbabe32 - Don't think I havent noticed it ;) haha ..... but I know you haven't been been enamoured with some of my more cutting questions about the McCanns. But thats how I am, I like to stay on the cutting edge with my questions, even if it means I sometimes step over that edge rather than just hang around in the pool of mediocrity :)

Gerry McCann is threating to sue who ever does not agree with him the newspapers will have a field day should he actually get the bravado to actually do it. The tide is turning against him. The newspapers are even starting to question him. Nothing he has done to date has fitted in with any other parent who has had to deal with a missing child. The McCanns are to blame 100% they went out and left their children alone. The first rule rule of parenting is never leave your children alone. The second rule is never allow harm to come to them. Who on earth can give a man who leaves three small babies a pat on the back and say you did nothing wrong mate here have some money is as bad as him. Why the police and the authorities have not pulled him in by now is madness. The portugese police seem at a loss. The best thing they can do is send them packing back to the UK so that they can be properly investigated and looked into for the sake of the other two little ones. I can't belive Kate McCann is a GP she seems scared to open her mouth. The whole situation is just plain crazy. Putting Gerry McCann in charge of child protection ranks along side giving hitler the leadership of Israel. GM is not fit to lecture anyone a large slice of humble pie would befit him better instead of standing there telling us what a great person he is. If he was a good fit parent his little girl would be safely at home enjoying the summer holidays.

Gerry McCann is going to heal the world and make it a better place......By the time hes finished it will be safe to leave three babies unattended for hours at a time, Parents all over the world will be liberated from the gruelling responsibilities of parenthood. Your precious little ones will be expected to fend for themselves from the age of 18 months onwards...hear hear Gerry. I for one salute you. Im not even going to bother hiring a nanny for my son when I go back to work, Im just going to leave him a box of jaffa cakes and a tin of diet coke, he can fend for himself at two. You Mr and Mrs McCann are an inspiration to parents all over the world. Give yourself a pat on the back - oh you already have. The fact that **** is lecturing on child protection issues is sickening, take a reality pill mate - infact take the whole box.

America has thousand of children who are missing, if we as countries Britain and the USA can learn from each other maybe we will be more armed to put a stop to the little mites being taken away from loving parents by paedophiles and scumbags

However, Gerry McCann is not the man to set this up, I would never take his advice on parental responsibility. We need an ambassador who actually has the peoples respect and leads by example.

Edit dave s not gave you a star for awhile but for once I agree with your question.

Edit* dave s we all have our different styles of speaking the truth as we see it, mine is more tame compared to yours but I still get results. I am not a lemming as I believe you are not also, so I will always speak out if I disagree. Not a question really about hanging.around in the pool of mediocrity, I will speak out about those I feel deserve it but will hold back on those who are only involved through blood. Good question though. :)

hear hear.... I read today in the UK press that their local village newspaper has had to close message emails from the public because they are becoming more and more abusive. I can understand them wanting to still be in the country she was taken from, but what I can understand is the globtrotting hes doing.....ffs....we know children get snatched, abused, god forbid murdered, but at some point he and his wife have to stand up and take responsibility for their actions. If they were on the balcony having a glass of wine and a meal with their friends this would not have happened, they chose to go to a local resturant, no matter how close or far...they left their three children. It is purely and simply their fault. You can only hold others responsible when they have impecable parently skills.....unfortunately they did not where maddie was concerned.

No dave s - it isn't EXTRA knowledge - he didn't have any before he fecking left!lol

Seriously though, this guy is making me angrier by the day and how he's getting away with all this I really do not understand. What worries me is that because of all this "responsible parenting" sh*t that's being spouted, someone may just put it to the test and another child - or children - will go missing.

My answer to Gerry's statement would be "Make the world safer for YOUR OWN kids before you start on the world."

Discussing with politicians! Ha, lol, I wouldn't be instructed how to squirt tomato sauce by that man, let alone look after my child!

As I write I can feel the safety returning to children all over the world .. and all because of Gerry..

I presume that his next role will be UN Secretary General - "Boutros Boutros Gerry" or "Kofi McCann" or maybe he'll become a UN goodwill ambassador clearing away the landmines in Cambodia... ...

Jeez next this guy will be giving a sermon on Mount Sinai and holding up his staff to part the Red Sea!!

From his general tone I got the impression that Gerry is quite disgruntled about the presence of paedos and scumbags in the world. if they didn't exist he probably would quite cheerfully continue to leave his kids on their own. He has never shown remorse for that.

I just can't get over the indescribable arrogance of someone who can never ever claim that he did everything to protect his little girl (having left her to fend for herself several nights running) lecturing politicians on child welfare. I've never seen anything like it, surely at some point someone will snap and publicly give him the dressing down he deserves. What a total and utter disgrace.

Gerry is definitely not the person for this job we could teach him a thing or two. His arrogance is overwhelming, I think he really does believe in all he is saying, whoever are his advisers.
