i feed the fish with a packet of crisp because there want any fish food all his fish died shall i tell him want i did they was on hoilday at the time

you really should tell him. I understand that you were just feeding them potato chips cause there was nothing else to feed them, but, you definitely need to tell him. It is the responsible thing to do. He may take it better than you think and be understanding. But, if he expects you to pay for the fish, then you should pay for them. If you killed his puppy by mistake, would you tell him? Same thing. They were his "pets" and he has a right to know what happened instead of wondering if he did something wrong. It's the mature and responsible thing to do.

Leave a little fishy suicide letter and make a report with the Animal Fish and Game. No tell him what the hell does he expect taking off on a vacation and leaving you home alone with out fish food, what the hell would a reasonable person do, lets hope you haven't been eating crackers either!

Yes, of course you should tell him, it's the right thing to do. Tell him, apologize and further more, you should offer to pay him for the fish or replace it. How you come up with the money to do so is another question, but you should without a doubt do all of the above.

poor you ! Everyone is saying you should tell but its not that easy .Yes tell him, its the right thing but maby you should buy him a new fish but not as much money .If you can, he wont get mad .Fish do die so don't worry to much and yes if i where u I would be really upset ... good luck!

tell him fish die no body know why they die they just do and when it happens to somebody Else's fish and you know you did it then ya you feel guilty and worse but tell him and it may have not even been you that killed it could died from natural reasons and Ive never heard of a fish costing that much that's crazy i wouldn't buy one for that amount just for it to die later on
