Star Wars. I say this because this was the first movie ( at the theaters) that had a sequel, the first movie that charged more than usual price - people kept seeing it anyways, the first movie with great special effects that movies since have copied and improved upon and finally I was in my teens and it
had the biggest impact on me. I am making a correction - Planet of the Apes was the first (at the theaters) that had continuous sequels.

I say The Lord of the Rings! But everyone has their own opinions. I am a fan of make believe movies, such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Spiderman, so my list of the best movies would contain those kind of movies.. What is your favorite genre of movie?!
