My first was not a car but a J reg - 2.0, V4 ford transit van and i loved it, it never let me down and in those days there was no regulations about people in the back and seat-belts and stuff so me and all my mates used to cram in it and head for the coast each weekend, it had a great sounding stereo in it and a single mattress and if id had too much to drink at a party or something id just sleep in the back, Great Days !!.

My first car is/was a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, baby blue in color, and YES it means a lot to me! (LOL it's because of my Beetle, that my friends started nicknaming me Beetle Becca and the nickname stuck around) I'd always wanted a bug since I was a toddler and used to call them "little tiny cars" every time I saw one drive by. I worked my a-- off at McDonalds to earn that car, because my parents made it clear that they weren't buying me a car, and I wasn't going to let that interfere with me getting what I wanted. I've named my car "Baby Blue" and "she" even has her own Myspace site LOL. I've had my bug for 9 years now...just got a new motor for her...and I'm planning to keep her forever, along with the 1976 VW campmobile that I later bought to add to my lil' collection.

my first car was a ford fiesta bought by my parents for my 17th christmas even though i had not passed my test. i sat in it for 2 months cleaning it before i passed. my parents took it away from me and sold it because i was a bad girl, since i knew the person they had sold it to when he wanted to get rid of it my b/f bought it back for me, i bet that really pee'd them off, haha only problem was whilst it was on a petrol forecourt the handbrake which was not on properly failed and it rolled into the road heading for a shop window and was hit by a mondeo coming up the road, the driver was a gentleman he gave me a lift to work because my car was now a write off, (not so funny) and me and my b/f had to continue paying of the loan we had to buy it back and had no car to show for it as we only had 3rd party insurance. i loved that car, was very sad when it went to the knackers yard.

Plymouth Reliant- I loved it but it was not so reliable, you could time it - it broke down @ every 3-4 days. But I learned how to work on cars from it

i'm still driving my first car, a nissan micra, and he's called george, and i do care for it, someday when it stops raining i'll clean that pukey substance off the back door and i may even empty out the growing number of empty ciggarette boxes littering the inside of it
