that is probably what it is. Use the cream Monistat rather than a diaper ointment. See if that wont clear it up. It works on diaper rash as well.

It could just be a diaper rash. Try giving him a warm bath with a little baking soda in it. It will help dry it up. After the bath, towel dry him, but let him air dry for a little while too. I know he might pee, so try letting him stay on the floor or something with a towel or two under him. Sometimes the best way to get rid of a diaper rash is to let them get some air onto their bottoms. If the rash doesn't go away in a day or two, take him to the doctor to have it checked out. Also, don't put any creams or anything on it that is going to hold in moisture. Sometimes these make things worse.

It sounds like diaper rash. Talk to your pediatrician. It doesn't sound like a yeast infection to me. A yeast infection ins't a rash - it's a bacterial infection.

My son is 2 yrs old and still somtimes he get this ask your childs pedatrician about Niastatin cream its a cream for diaper rash. remember that diaper rash isnt caused from not changing your child when they have on a daiper they sweat and sweat causes an irratation which results in a rash.

My daghter has one right now and that is what it sounds like to me so make a doctors appointment its not going to go away with diaper rash cream if the area in question is bubbley or blistered it is not a diaper rash.
