You're going to want a Journalism Major and then a Minor in English or Communications

Journalism as a major, then I would pick something that interests you as a minor, something that you would like to write about maybe? Then you can get some experience with that subject as well. Ask your advisor or counselor and they will be able to help you out more. Good Luck!

What do you want to write about? If there is no special subject, or there is no major or minor in that area, for isntance, if you wanted to write for Guns and Ammo, there is no major in hunting that I know of, you might want to major or minor in English and journalism would be a good partner. Other possibilites would be political science.
