oka, if i were pregnant, i would be 5 weeks exactly today. is that too soon to take a pregnancy test? or should i wait?
how long did it take yall to get positive pregnancy tests?

If your concerned then take a test, you can get the home kits that have 2 in the package. That way if it turns out negative and then you still don't start you cycle then you could do it again...Remember stress can also make you late, if you think you may be pregnant then check. Also, you always want to follow up with your doctor, positive or negative, after taking a home pregnancy test.

for a urine test it only takes a couple of minutes maybe 15 seconds. And for a blood test anywhere from 30 minutes to 48 hrs depending on how busy the lab is. n no its not too early to test now if u would be 5 wks pregnant if u are

If you are a week late for your period then it should be a good time to test! If it comes up negative just wait a week and test again. I dont know if they have a dollar tree where you live, but they have 1$ pregnancy tests that are pretty damn sensitive! If you arent comfy with that, but a two pack just in case! GOOD LUCK!

I took my pregnancy test a few days before i was expecting my period. Just read the box the test comes in. It will explain how soon is to soon to take the test. I would take it around your time of the month. good luck!

Sure... go ahead and take one. If you are 5 weeks then you have already missed a period. Grab a test and use it first thing in the morning. If it's negative, wait a few days or a week and take another.

my cycle was sometime between feb 9 10 or 11th . its now march 16th and no cycle took a test came out neg. my breast have turned dark n swolen my belly is hard. im always exhausted urinating a lot n harmonal. how far would i be? is it too early to take a test and thats why i got a neg test result and what do i do.help

It would be accurate if you took it today.
A blood test is only effective 3 days before a urine test so if your late a urine test would be pretty much your answer.
I got a + test with my daughter 5 days before my period was due and this time around I didnt get one until the day my period was due....I was 3wks/5dys both times.

I took one and got the answer right away and i was pregant the best way to get a really quick answer is take the test as soon as u get up in the morning.

I didnt get a + HPT til I was 3 days late!! And even then It came up a faint positive!! I'll be 6 weeks on Monday and the HPT comes up very dark now!!

with an ept, you can get a positive result 5 days before ur expected period. and for blood test, i believe that u can take it up to 2 weeks after sex
