Postman Pat was sold off, by Royal Mail , about 8 years ago, because he was no longer cost-effective. I know because I used to dress as his part for Summer fetes etc. The rubber head, didn't 'arf dehydrate you.!!
Shame......
Royal Management made that decision, following loosing
millions of pounds, by buying & investing in Foreign Postal Networks . i.e. Polish post, Italian network, & then selling them off at a big loss !

That is why the Workforce has been cut drastically, to compensate for past inefficient management decisions.
Further constructive negotiations should now take place between RM management & CWU before the British Postal System is destroyed completely.
Or, perhaps Crozier , with his £300,000 bonus & Leighton,
paid excessively for one days work a week, have been sent to Privatise at all costs....!!!
And if Postman Pat was still about,
then he would definitely be on the Picket Line, & fighting
for a principle, of a fair deal for the British Public & the Postie !

No because postman pat does not work for a sorting office. He is nothing more than a glorified paperboy whos post is dropped off by courier each morning. Postman pat has not legally been alowed to display HR Royal Mail for 15 years but escapes being fined by the police because they are so understaffed at GDPD (Greendale police department). What with the new speed cameras and drug busting which has been going on of late!
