YOU make them intimidating. You have the power within you to decide that they are no better than you and then to NOT be intimidated by them anymore. I really enjoy it when people are obviously trying to intimidate me, I almost completely ignore them. They can't stand that and will usually tone it down a bit.

Crazy people. The type that just don't care. My girlfriend's brother got pistol whipped once and still kicked the guy's *** and his 2 other friends. That's pretty intimidating.

When they don't understand the boundaries of 'personal space'. That can be very intimidating.

Talking fast, looking at you, not blinking, and expecting you to listen to what ever they are rambling on about,which is usually some crap you don't want to sit and listen too.
