Depends on the man, the woman, and the circumstances. We need more specifics before anyone can really answer this question. Generally, though, it has to do with the self-esteem of the guy, but that is quite a generalization.

If a guy is really attracted to a woman, than yes, he can be intimidated. He just needs to know that you are cool and he has no reason to be afraid. Sometimes it takes time and patience.

Some men are..I think it's the fear of rejection. I think that can go for anybody though.
