many routers have SNMP capability that will let you monitor a wide array of different routing statistics. If you want to log visited domains...well, I have no comment. I wouldn't want someone spying on me...

Are you concerned about hackers? If so, implement security including MAC address validation.

You can also disable LAN DHCP, change subnet to an unusual subnet (e.g. 192.168.239.0/24 where router address becomes 192.168.239.1, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and default gateway = router adress). Assign static IP addresses to each pc with pc # 1 = 192.168.239.2, pc # 2 = 192.168.239.3, etc. Subnet mask and default gateway for all pcs are 255.255.255.0 and default gateway = 192.168.239.1. Document and retain the documentation of what you have done as you will have to manually add new IP addresses for new approved users and you cannot have duplicates. A LAN IP scheme like this will further restrict a lot of intended hackers. If you want to be even tighter, use a higher bit subnet than /24 as this would exclude most of the simpler hackers who really do not understand subnets (this means you need to understand them AND your router will support them - some low end routers do not).

depending on what you want to monitor ...

If your router is a DHCP server then you can see who's connecting to your router. Otherwise use a sniffer.
