if anything, it proves they do not vote straight ticket. everyone says they didn't.

Ah, while the question is not hard, the answer is! People are analog, not digital. People are not 1/0, yes/no. on/off, people deal in answers like pi or 1/3, not exact. There are as many different levels of response and attitude and opinion as there are people! While I don't think there are that many people who "vote straight tickets", I think there has been a lot of polarization of issues lately. I personally agree with a lot of George W. Bush's positions, but the man will NEVER win any popularity contests! There are similar issues with ALL the Republican and Democratic candidates out there now, and the "offical" positions of their parties, both of which seem extreme to me. Where are the moderates who want balance?
