i think this kind of problems are very complicated for every persons have their own ideas on how things are to be done so i think the only way to "heal the wounds of the world" is total UNITY and for that someone or something must lead us and i think that seems to be impossible for now for... but how i wish someone can do that...

i like lourdess's answer. it is nothing but a choice, there are ghandis and king jrs out there but they get inundated by all the bad that good people choose to ignore b/c its not happening to them. most every human on this earth is guilty of this; prejudice. we see and assume we know what is going on in that point in time. great men and women before us have set an example to how we should treat each other and they where no different than any of ue, they where probably just as scared and full of doubt about doing the right thing. but they got the courage to do it. cowardness is not the feeble or the scared its those that choose not to do what they can to help they brethren and if you yourself aint happy with your self you have no word in anyone else's life. fix home before you go and try to fix someone elses.

We can heal our own wounds
We can heal ourselves and others and the world
if we truely WANT to.
It is CHOICE...... we choose to play out roles that can magnify our hurts or magnify our peace, or our triumphs.
We really do create our own reality...
It is not easy and it is not pain free.
But is it possible?????
YES
DO WE WANT TOO? Well that is another thing all together

Get Bush and others supporting the war in Iraq with millions a year. Have them figure a way to get some money for more important health research for cancer, diabetes, stem cell research, and stuff like that.

before one can like or love others they must like and/or love themselves. The same in the big picture.
Also, it is easier to find an answer for others cause the emotional level is different than our own woes!
