I didn't have stretch marks until I had my kids. Now I've got a lot of them. After awhile they shrink and turn a lighter color. They really aren't that bad.

Stretch marks really not something you can avoid if you want to have kids. The commercial creams don't work either, I tried those with each of my 4 pregnancies and I still got the stretch marks.

My husband loves my stretch marks because HE's the one that put them there by getting me pregnant.

I read some of the previous answers to your question and they are wrong. I had my daughter when I was 20, did not have a stretch marks after that and still don't have them (I am 34). It all depends on individual's body. But if you already have them, they won't go away but not necessarily will get worse.

Hi,

I am a detox specialist and I specialize in helping people lose weight.

Stretch marks are formed when our body over stretches and can't seem to recover properly after that. Usually though, they are genetically passed down.

I never had stretch marks before but started to have them after pregnancy. But I did manage to get rid of some of them after I detoxed ;) What is left is really barely visible as well..

That is because when you detox, your cells rejuevenate themselves and some of wat is 'broken' will be able to 'mend' themselves;)

So you might want to try a detox to firm up the skin structure first so as to better prepare for childbirth :)

A detox is healthy because it brings balance back to your body. All other benefits like better skin, stretch mark removal, loss of excess weight are 'side effects' of a detox. So at the end of the detox, you will find yourself get more energetic, healthier, more radiant looking as well.

And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

The marks did not get worse, but they are unavoidable. You can put baby oil on or any type of massage oil and lotion, but you won't be able to eliminate them all together. It's just a part of nature that tells everyone that you've brought life into the world and were blessed with a child.
