I do occasionally say things here that could get me a violation, most of the time it doesn't. When I behave and ask normal stuff that's when I get nailed everytime. Go figure, and yes I see people saying that all the time and yes it pi$$es me off!

I have a feeling that when I get my first one, I will feel exactly as you do. Except if we take away the violation feature, then the morons will run amok. Because I guess everyone feels that their utterings are pretty sacrosanct. So what do we do?
Have Yahoo hire the people who make over 10,000 points
to do the editing, Then change the keyed words to context violations.

Subject: Re: Violation Notice Email

Um, this was a reference to an old "Saturday Night Live" skit where a weirdo made clay people, and destroyed "Mr. Bill" in various demented ways. Yet it was safe enough for 1970s US tv, and back then US tv was extremely conservative . . .
Point being, what is offensive here? Please explain, if you would. Copy-and-pasting TOS links isn't entirely convincing, as I am not endangering the morals of children or being racist, or using Y!A to make money off people. I'm also not entirely convinced all you people are entirely aware of the rules, yourselves.

For those not old enough to remember, this was an extremely popular "Saturday Night live" skit from the late 1970s. http://www.mrbill.com/

People have "thin skin",,and many who report are the kind of people who will watch a crime in progress and not get involved stating, "its not my job",,,,but be the frist to throw in their two cents, and then run and hide,,,,,,,,,,

I know exactly what you mean, Frosty. Fortunately, you also get support from people who have been there.
