i took it for all my previous pregnancies & just want to make sure its still ok as it was over 6 years ago?

LOL, gotta laugh as I asked my Doctor the same question about 10 weeks ago.....I used it in my first two pregnancies and that was 10 and 12 years ago so i wondered the same. It actually says on the label that it is suitable for pregnant and breast-feeding mothers....go on chick relieve yourself of the acid!!! lol x x x

Yes it is.
Drank gallons of the stuff with both my pregnancies and have 2 healthy boys (one just 6 weeks old).
You know, thinking about it, heartburn is one of those things that you completely forget about once the baby's born - and also one of those things that no-one warns you about. I mean, everyone knows that pregnant women get bigger, ache, get sickness, painful labour etc but no-one tells you about the rising bile-acid, piles, thrush, extreme sense of smell, mood swings, emotional irrationality, metal taste, the fact that by the end you can't remember what your feet look like etc!!!
I suppose the good thing is that once baby is born you totally forget about it all, I certainly have and like I say, my son is only 6 weeks old.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, not long to go now hun. Get drinking the Gaviscon!!

Yes, my doctor said it was ok to take Gaviscon and Maalox for heartburn and indigestion. What you want to avoid are products with bicarbonate of soda because of the high sodium content.
Gaviscon really helped me when I was pregnant, especially to be able to sleep at night!
