LOL @ Sir Ghapy and MM. I was going to go down to minutes and seconds. The problem here is that, what if you ask, how long until my newborn son gets to be 2 feet in height, and he's currently 18 inches long. It's the same logic as anything in nature that grows over time. It's going to vary. We could say well five months or 2 months or whatever provided you fed it right and kept the water quality perfect, and the temp and ph in range...but then it turns out to be double that and you'll think wtf? Genetics is one thing and nature itself. Noone can accurately predict growing time on things like this. Just give it the proper care and enjoy watching it grow is about the best I can tell you.
