Who else thinks that the work week should be shorter or less hours work in a day? I serioulsy hate it when the weekend comes because it is never long enough for rest or doing fun things. I also think that 8 hours is too freakin' long to be working, I think 6 hours would be great. Why and how did we come up that people have to work 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week or more. Since I know Americans are workaholics. Can we the people ask the government to change this? I think it should also be mandatory you get breaks. In my old state, we would get 2 15 minute breaks, but in this new state they only allow 10 minute breaks, to me that's measly rushed relaxation and a lot of times I don't even take them because you have to be constantly getting everything done now, now!!! Who could I put this idea to? Who's with me!? LOL

You need to look for a new job, maybe a part-time job.

I work 12 hour shifts with 3-15 minute breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch. I cant say as I feel sorry for anyone who works 8 hours. But then I only work 7 days out of 14.

perfect job/schedule is a maximum of 6 hours per day + 1 hour break+ weekends off. And still get $400-600 per week.

Feel free to find a job that pays you more per hour, so you can work shorter hours.

The Government has nothing to do with the work week, and it should stay that way

you need a union job...15 minute break every 2 hours + 1 hour (on the clock) meal = 6 hour day
