i carried 3 of mine very low also.i suggest alot of rest.i know its still some time before baby comes, but without rest, baby can come before time.i used a support belt.it is intended to help with your back while pregnant, but i used it to support my belly.to "kinda help carry"the baby.the doc should have already advised her on rest.she needs to take the remainder of the term easy.i only did what was very nessacary around the house and hubby helped with everything else!you sound conserned about her ,so i think you will be glad to help!if i may add, neither of the 3 were carried to full term.i was only able to carry them 36wks,38wks, and the last was 33wks. this was even after all the rest ,help from hubby and the bel i used for support.i wish her lots of luck with this baby and congrats to you both! hope you all have a healthy baby in the end!

There is no problem with carrying low - I carried both my girls low (it doesn't necessarily mean she will have a boy). She may have more hip pain and more urge to urinate, but ill probably avoid some of the heartburn and shortness of breat many women have that carry higher. She will also probably not notice when/if the baby drops the last few weeks. If it is really bothering her she can try a maternity belt which is like a big elastic belt that goes around the lower abdomen to sort of lift some of the pressure off. For me though, it would have been worse to have this big thing strapped around me then just to deal with the low belly.

Well, have the dr's put her on bedrest or anything like that?
Is she in pain?
My experience is with my son, he was low, I started having preterm labor around 21-23 weeks.
I was on bedrest for over two months because he was putting so much pressure on my cervix that it was nearly 100% effaced, it would cause ptl and I would have to go in. I was on meds every four hours and it was just so painful and then came the bleeding and then came my water breaking and him being born early.
now, some women carry really low and are fine.
with my son he was so low that he was pretty much head butting his way out and if my cervix had been stronger i most likely would have carried to term.
If you guys are that concerned you should go in and get checked and see if her cervix has changed at all if she doesnt want to do they pelvic they can do different types of ultrasound scans to measure things and see if there has been any cervical changes they can also to a do test called FFN, when your body is starting to get ready to go into labor is releases a haromone, this test checks for that and if its positive it means that you are most likely going to be going into labor within the next two weeks and then the drs will take steps to try and prevent it.

Carrying low isn't as important as cervical length. The OB can order an ultrasound to check the length of her cervix to make sure it's "competent" (holding the baby in). If they find the cervix is at least 3cm, things are usually OK. If not, he will probably recommend bed rest.

She could have a yeast an infection, probally a low grade one, yet not inevitably. many women this far alongside and extra alongside have a white discharge that's thoroughly conventional. I had it with all 3 of my toddlers, it facilitates to prepare for start. additionally not all women get itchy while they have yeast infections, I certainly have been clinically determined with them i could say a stable thrice and on no account had any indications different than the release. Have her get checked with the scientific expert to ease your minds and make shure it is not a yeast an infection, and notwithstanding if that's...extra suitable than probable it became into led to with the help of the antibiotics, they have a tendency to try this in the process ladies, esp. preg. ones! do not in basic terms go out and get anti fungal cream, you do not comprehend if she has one except she is examined for it, and u ought to on no account take meds, over-the-counter or not without the dr's ok.

That is perfectly normal.... what exactly is your concern?? She won't just drop it out if that's what is bothering you.... My second pregnancy was extremely low also to the point that the pubic bones hurt pretty bad. But there is no cause for alarm. Massage her back and be the doting hubby right now... she will apprieciate for years to come!

They make a belt that she can get at any preg. store. I got mine at Babies R Us. This helps support the baby so that the back and bladder aren't so uncomfortable.

it can't be any advice, every woman would carry differently, if she carries low, that's the way it's supposed to be, based on her body structure.
