World is share on 24 time zones by meridians. zero meridian going over Grenwich in U.K. There time is 4:45 AM now. If you going on east you calculate time in + from 0 meridian. Also every further meridian is 1 hour +. Space beetwen 2 meridians is shared on min, and sec. so you can calculate exact time in your city or symplier go on time web site to see time in any part of the world

There are 4 time zones in the continental United States. Starting in the east and going west, Eastern Standard Time (EST) is -5hrs from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT also called Zulu Time). Central Standard Time is -6hrs GMT. Mountain Standard Time is -7hrs GMT. Pacific Standard Time is -8hrs GMT. Many of the states in USA also subscribe to Daylight Savings Time (EDT, CDT, MDT, & PDT respectively). During Daylight Savings clocks are pushed forward 1 hour, so EDT is -4hrs GMT, CDT -5hrs GMT, MDT -6hrs GMT and PDT -7hrs GMT. I hope this helps.
