You can go online and print out your own papers and write them up if it is not going to be contested and then you both take them to the courthouse for the judge to sign and pay a minimal court fee for the papers to be filed! Try this link: http://www.uslegalforms.com/divorce/?puslf=msn+file+for+divorce I actually know several people who have done this and their divorce was final within about 30 days!

I got a divorce and I live in Georgia. We found the ad in the classifieds for the attorney. I was married for 25 years and had no money for my own attorney. We had one attorney for the two of us. You both have to agree to everything before the divorce is filed. My divorce was filed on Oct. 30th and it was final Dec 7th. The ony good thing about using one attorney was the attorney went to court for us for the divorce. It would be better to have 2 different attorneys. I got stabbed in the back by my ex when we were filing the divorce. Call some attorneys and find out about an annulment. That may be possible.

You can easily do without a lawyer. Look on line or at a bookstore. I bought a book at Borders that included all of the forms and step by step instructions. No lawyers at all.

It depends on where you live. In California it'll take 6 months from the day you file.

There is no such thing as an inexpensive divorce. Even though neither of you will contest it, you still have to have lawyers.
