Salt (Dried vacuum variety) can be used in ponds, and a lot of people believe it to have different benefits for their water or fish. It's not something I would advise doing unless you had a specific problem with the pond or a fish.

Anyway, the end result is that you won't do any harm but the choice is yours.

Pond dosage = 1/2 ounce per gallon ... which means you would need 6kg (rounded up)

To do an individual salt bath for a fish dose at 3.5 ounce per gallon for 10 mins.

I assume this is a freshwater pond so no salt is necessary. If you are having problems with the pond check your maintenance schedule, water changes, removal of dead leaves, plants, etc., pond location, amount of sun, algae, fish load, etc. and that should let you know how to properly address any issues. I've never believed in salt as a cure all and with proper maintenance no chemicals, salt, etc. are necessary for a healthy environment.

Ponds are freshwater - you'd probably be further ahead not to use any unless you have a problem you're trying to take care of - you're only making it more complicated for yourself since healthy fresh water fish don't need salt added.
