I live in Spain (ex pat from the U.K.). The weather here is very very hot, 37c. I think the U.K. have had all of our rain as it hasn't rained here since April. I would quite willingly swap a little sunshine with you.

I'm in Istanbul and the weather here is hot and sticky!
Today we have our lowest temperature for the past few weeks - 30 degrees at 16:00hrs local time!
There has already been water rationing, with mains water being turned off every weekend, in different areas each weekend. We've been told that there will more of it and my contacts in the supermarket industry say that there is mass ordering of bottled water ready for next month.
Having returned from England two weeks ago, I can really sympathise with you guys over there and don't want you to think I am trying to boast about the weather. If you lot could have a week or so of this weather, I think the water levels would drop significantly!!
I really do wish you ALL the best through this horrible time, I saw my home town of Pangbourne-on-Thames in some photos and on the news, and it looked really sad, nothing but water. :(

It has been torrential all the morning and flooded our garden but luckily we are nowhere near a river so should not be affected as some poor folk. Sorry to hear Ireland also having the same weather but at least you will keep the Emerald Isle green!!
