I don't know if I would say they were "close" but I have friends that are non-white, and if you count the people I've met on this forum I have friends from all over the world, which I think is great!

I don't have any friends anymore (too old and grew apart). But when I did have friends, pretty much all of them were white. The other black kids didn't understand me and I didn't understand them.

Sure do and I love them all, it goes beyond any race, religion, sex. When there is a connection with friends you can't deny it and if you do you are cheating yourself and them of a great person in your life.
