No. Wireless router only work with broadband - DSL or cable. First, dial up is so slow that there is not enough bandwidth for a router to be able to split it between multiple PCs. But also the protocol (the way in which the information is send) are totally dofferent. So a router will not work on a dial up connection.

You can't connect the dial-up directly to the router, but with some fiddling you could set up internet connection sharing and have one PC dialing up as and when you need it - and other computers connecting through that one. Not sure how to do it, though.
You'll probably find it too slow when multiple computers are accessing the internet at once. It's probably easiest to have a network for file and printer sharing, but to have the computers individually connect by modem to the internet one at a time.

You can use it to some extent. You can create a mini network between all your computers, even wirelessly, but you will need a modem plugged into a master computer and then share that internet connection with other machines. What you can't do is use the router as a dial-up modem and directly access the internet from the wi-fi.

The only way you could do this is...
1) Use a PC to begin the dial-up session
2) enable the ethernet adapter to share the network with the wireless router
3) enable the wireless router as a network access point
4) use another PC (with wireless) to access the shared network
I have never done this but theoretically it should be possible.... but will be veeeeerrrrrryyyyy sssslllllloooooooow!

In short its impossible because a router/modem is for ADSL Broadband if you don't surf much there is no real point in a router/modem . If you need help moving to another isp try www.ispreview.co.uk and look at theur forums maybe post an enquiry, or www.thinkbroadband.com and go to the forms section, Good Luck.

How come you can't get broadband i thought everywhere could get it either through cable or a bt phoneline anyway you should still be able to use the router as it has a modem built in am not sure about using it wirelessly though
