Do you think that these ancient words remain wise to this day?

Yes, that is very wise. It means that we will live through them. If we plant a tree, our memory will live for as long as the tree. If we have a child, a part of ourselves will be alive. If we write a book, our words and thoughts will continue to go through the minds of others. When we do these things, we do achieve immortality.
