This akll depends on where you are using it. a Thin client is genally used in a college or workplace to stop users having to much control.

Apart from requiring a Terminal Server
...the stupid licencing
...that a decent Thin-Client still costs the same as a business standard PC
...Configuration of applications arent single user customisable
...Oh nearly forgot to print...ah forget it..printing in TS requires several hundred asprin.

You might want to readjust the question and be a bit more specific:
Used with WindowsTS or Citrix
Used purely as a PC...which im thinking is your aim!!

There are some advantages to using Thin Clients...but you didnt ask that
