Is it really ever enough!
In my case, I'm happy where I am at. I own a nice percentage of the company I work at and I have a contract to buy more that will give me majority control. I'm building a brand new home, 3600sf. I also make a very nice living, 6 figures. I cannot complain.

No, And I think that the system does NOT work. I mean minimum wage is what like $7.50 an hour. Then you have COPS who sit on their butts or drinking coffee of talking on the cell phone or looking into the ditch or man hole. BUT they are bing paid like $30.00 an hour to be there for PUBLIC safety. They are there to direct traffic but they are doing all of the above. I use this as an example only. THERE ARE all so many other jobs where the workers ARE way OVER paid and then you have the REAL TRUE working class who get paid chit for good hard work. Another EXAMPLE only are WAITRESSES, Most get paid ONLY $3.00 an hour as the rest of their hourly wage comes from TIPS. WHY is that. TIPS are suppose to be a bonus for good service. And if I get sucky service I will tip very very little if any. So that means this girl/guy just got paid a few bucks for an hours worth of work. HOW can OUR government do this. The restaurant after all IS making money, so why doesn't he/she have to pay the workers?

NO! I'm a teacher, I don't get benefits that are worth mentioning and, what I do get, cost way too much. Our salaries are ridiculous. The number of students per class is increasing, the respect from students is virtually gone, some parents are a problem more than anything else, we can't buy books, forget about computers, public opinion consider us as babysitters... Should I continue?

Not really - I work for the state...but it's a pretty low stress job and I have pretty good benefits so I can't complain too much. However, I could go work part-time in the private sector and get paid the same (but with NO benefits at all). There are tradeoff's.
