The washing of feet can be very sensuous. Also, defense of a fallen woman was an offense in itself in those days. Single women traveling with men were considered fallen. This is all historical......not of any of the version of the Bible.

The fact that Mary was allowed to "visit" Jesus whilst being crucified is no proof that there was anything other than a friendship between them. It would have been the women's job to clean the bodies after death etc. this was the norm and indeed was so in our society until quite recently.
It should also be remembered that there was a other Marys in the party of grieving women, including the mother of James but due to recent theories thier part is played down and little mentioned these days.
Crucifixions took place outside the city walls but were in public areas for all to see. In St. Luke it also mentions other women including Joanna the wife of one of Herods stewards.
In anything did happen betwixt Jesus and any Mary we do not know.

My theory on this was yes He and Mary were married and had a family. Jesus was put on this world to preach the Good News from God Our Father. How could he honestly preach about marriage and children if He Himself had not experienced it. He would not have had any first hand knowlege about any of this. He could preach honestly about growing up as young child and into His teen-age years and then I really believe He had to have been married and that would have been to Mary M. and then to preach honestly about family, He would have had to experience fatherhood. When Jesus was put on earth it was for Him to be a common man. Of course he performed Miracles and that came from Our Father. I am a walking Miracle today and my doctors bring in other doctors when I have an appt. and I am introduced as a real Miracle. I was very sick and had blood poisoning through my whole bloodstream and only 1out 5 live and I went into congestive heart failure as a result of this infection. I had a fever of 106.5 and I walked out of the hospital to smell the fresh Spring air, I don't know why I survived something that was so deadly and I had been in the hospital for cancer and 10 years later I am still free of the cancer. I don't any credit for me getting well and staying well with all that I went through. I give the credit to God so I can honestly witness to people that Miracles do happen. I could not have done that if I myself had not gone through what I did.
And that is what I think Jesus had to go through in order to be a witness to the things He taught about.
When I give my personal theory I say the same thing that I said just now and people are shocked because I am a practicing Catholic and I just tell them that God gave us choice of our feelings and thoughts. In other words we are not puppets and I am not going to act like one.

I think a careful look at the traditions of the area at that time and the behavior they were reported to exhibit to one another supports a possibility they were married, only a possibility. No one can be sure because though the bible doesn't say they were, it doesn't say they were not either. I would think to support the theory that they were would actually help in the sanctity of marriage but I think their were other agendas that won out when the single cannon was put together.

Marry Magdaline liked to put it about a bit but Jesus didnt mind because he was a closet homo, thats why he hung out with 12 guys. At that time being gay wasnt fround upon at all in fact a lot of the Roman Emporoers loved in a bit of action in the rear alley. The apsotles liked to give Mary Magdaline a Bukkake every now and then and Jesus would watch.
Hope this helps.

I'm totally convinced that they were married. Celibate came in the church some centuries after, and it is very hard to believe in pregnancy by holy ghost. So Jesus was a human been.
Also, in that time it was impossible to be unmarried for man. Hi would never have that much respect from others.

Skeptics doubt that such people really existed. The church denies that they were married. It is only in such discredited nonsense as "The Da Vinci Code" that they were wed. Pierre Plantard evidently concocted this whole tale in 1956.

Why not? Having a relationship and having kids doesn't mean its not pure. If so, many of us aren't pure. Everything is pure as it is. Bible was written by men ages ago with political ambitions and for power, worship and money. Why do you think Churches are so rich?

If the bible says no, then thats no. Why do people have to sexualise everything to understand it? Jesus asked Peter if he loved him - and he loved his friends very deeply. Grow up people.

i am not religious but i think something probably happened , it was probably his wife or girlfriend.
when he died he was supposed to be around 32 and there is no way in a country like that the families would have allowed them not to be married.
it is the church who insist he was not married to keep him pure.
leaving them free to molest children
