Thanks for the first laugh of the day. lol

It would be a good way to get rich. Do some horendous crime, turn yourself in, get the reward, then keep you're fingers crossed that you can stay alive and intact till your parole day.

At 80yrs old, out you come with a wad of cash, and die of a heart attack once you find out inflation has turned your reward in to pocket money. : )

Your not allowed to profit from your crimes, so no. The reward money should be given to the criminal's victims.

yep the criminal should get the money - this could help towards the compensation he/she has to pay to their victims and or fines rather than a £1 a week here n there etc or that money should go towards their stay in Prison rather than the tax payers forking out for them.....

Absolutely not! Its bad enough he or she costs hard working law abiding tax paying citizens money to house them; feed them and have to provide for them in a jail cell.
