My aunt gave my mother 60 gifts for her 60th birthday. some small, some with sentimental value, and some more expensive. My mother really enjoyed them especially one that was her favorite book when she was a child, the book had copies of pencil illustrations from the author as well.

u could make a memorable poem and frame it for her, talking about ur wonderful childhood with ur mother and describe the kind of person she is and how u love her. I did that for my grandfather's 80th b-day and he loved it.
