A Happy medium please as u get the best of both worlds. A soft mattress may be soft but it can be bad 4 ur back. Where as a hard one is uncomfortable but better 4 ur back! It is recommended that u get one halfway so u can combine comfort and goodness 4 ur back!

My back likes a firm mattress. I prefer a softer 1. Back wins!

Over the years I've had both.Soft more often then hard. When I was younger it was hard most of time. Now that I'm older it's soft most of the time.My wife says she would prefer hard most of the time especially when she's on her back.My Doctor says I should try the pump---that way I can have it hard when she wants and soft if I'm too tired. But I really like my recliner.

Dam I thought you where going to say boiled egg!
I love soft boiled with soldiers.
But in answer to your real question, I like my mattress soft, so I can snuggle. :-)
