Miss Priciples, we are already paying benefits out for the Polish non workers anyway. This way we could then reduce postal cost's to us the public and to companies so overall we would all be better off

im getting so fed up with the royal mail its not fair that they treat there customers like they have been doing. there is very important post that needs to get to people who have paid for it to be delivered. also my postman actually does nothing but moan and is funny with me if i have too much post or parcels ect what a cheek if he didnt want to post mail to people maybe he shouldnt have become a postman lol. also and heres my last rant lol most of my post either dont turn up or goes to other peoples homes.

Now there is a really well thought out question.

It is this type of thinking that has depleted the rights of the working man!

I suppose you would say the same thing if the NHS workers went on strike? If that happened, I would like to see you as first in the que for an operation by Polish Immigrants wielding razor sharp scalpels.

There are thousands and thousands of old and infirm people in the Uk who depend on the postie delivering and use the P.O. as a life line.
There are plenty of postmen who have families with young children to support and are feeling more than a little insecure as to their future.

Think about others first, you will feel better for it!

Another sad troll..... the majority of Polish people who come to this country are happy enough to work, for any wage because it is within their culture to be hard workers. Something the British public could learn a thing or two from. The wage that they make here , even as little as £5.00 per hr , worked over a 6 month period, can support a family in Poland for a very long time. They come here and work their asses off, ofcourse there will be some who exploit the system, but when you have a bunch of monkeys running the country and let it happen from both other nationalities as well as our own, why not? Im not saying its right but rather than condem the people, why not start here , in this country?! There are other countries who do not allow exploitation from anyone and have a very low unemployment level as well as other things. You are quick to jump on the band wagon of "boo hoo, they are coming here and taking our jobs and none are left for us, boo hoo" well there is always a job available, the people in this country are just to feckin lazy and picky to go out and get them! So I would say, Yeah, give the jobs tot he Polish people, at least we wouldnt have a half assed delivery system andour mail would get to us on time!!!

Just like to add to the un eductaed fools, the money for the benefits comes from the European union, not our pockets! So try and make up something new that you can winge about.

I agree with the posties strike. I do think that they are getting an unfair deal. It is always those at the bottom end of any business would get the raw deal. I also think it is wrong to pay someone else for a job just because of the nationality. If they can do the job properly then they should get the same wages as we do.

how do you make that out if they are working they wont be on benefits will they//anyway Quietone they might have a point their grievances seem to bear weight as does all the true Brits that want their country back and all benefit claimers out so perhaps we should follow the postmen and ALL go on strike to let the MPs of all parties know we have had enough and stop arguing with what the new PM has said he's about to do//our point all liberals out and squash PC&HR lets think about ourselves and our dear country if you remember it

I would love it if a Pole was my postman instead of the creepy ex-inmate / village fool that we are being catered by these days. i really dislike what you are suggesting about the Poles ie they should be paid 'half the money'. next time you will say that immigrants push the wages down. all the Poles i know in my neighbourhood are honest hardworking people who came over here to work not to be on bloody benefits and you should really be ashamed for having this stance. maybe a bit off topic but this send me raging.
edit: ffs. it is hardly polish workers' aim to 'buy land back home'!!! shame some people are totally ignorant of the context.

edit:
quietone: i know off-topic rant royalmail-wise, some comments on here just drive me insane
but yeah sack all the royal mail preferably starting from the top positions ;)

So far my experience with the polish is a bad one.
They work hard but don't do it right.
Been on three job's done by polish migrant works.. had to be taken apart a redone. also they are put very little back into the UK economy , more interested in sending money home to buy land.
I am not sure what the RM dispute is about, but if they feel strongly enough to take action, there must be something in it.

the top manager has just given himself a £370.000.00 wage rise while the postys wont get any pay rise plus extra work to do, does that seem fair to you?

Because at the rate we're doing that now, we'll soon run out of Poles.

They are a bunch of militant trouble makers - the sooner the strike is broken and they bring in people will do the job properly and honestly the better
